Will ILLUMI-NIGHT
work with my existing signs?
Yes! ILLUMI-NIGHT was designed to be used with
the most popular size sign frames. It was developed for the 18”x24”
metal sign frame and provides enough illumination for both a top
and bottom rider. ILLUMI-NIGHT can even work
on the larger frames, such as 18”x30”; although, if
using this size frame, we recommend using only those that have
the 6”x24” rider on top for optimum performance.
How durable is ILLUMI-NIGHT?
ILLUMI-NIGHT was made for the real estate industry,
and we have seen the abuse your signs take. We switched from a
plastic body to an aluminum body for that reason. ILLUMI-NIGHT
can take minor bumps and bruises. Keep in mind it is a light fixture,
so it doesn’t bounce. Dropping it on a hard surface is not
recommended and will void the limited warranty.
How does ILLUMI-NIGHT compare to
solar landscape lights?
Many solar landscape lights experience a drop in brightness as
the battery life decreases each night. ILLUMI-NIGHT
does not! ILLUMI-NIGHT was designed to maintain
full brightness for up to 7 hours before automatically shutting
off.
Does ILLUMI-NIGHT
require any maintenance?
No, unless you consider brushing off any snow accumulation that
may occur in the winter months. ILLUMI-NIGHT
is equipped with a rechargeable battery, so there are no batteries
to replace. ILLUMI-NIGHT also utilizes LEDs (light
emitting diodes) which have a 100,000 hour life span.
Where can ILLUMI-NIGHT
be used?
Anywhere the sun shines! ILLUMI-NIGHT is solar
powered, so direct sunlight is required to recharge the batteries.
Why is ILLUMI-NIGHT equipped with
an ON/OFF switch?
ILLUMI-NIGHT is equipped with an ON/OFF switch
to allow customers to turn the unit off while it is in the protective
presentation case or in storage.
Do I have to turn ILLUMI-NIGHT on and off each day?
No. When in use, simply turn the unit ON. ILLUMI-NIGHT
will automatically activate the LEDs at dusk using photocell technology.
ILLUMI-NIGHT will maintain full brightness for
up to 7 hours and will start recharging at dawn. The unit should
only be turned off for storage or transport purposes.
